Description

A delightful Turkey and Havarti Croissant Sandwich that combines flaky croissants with savory turkey and creamy Havarti cheese.


Ingredients

  • 6 large croissants
  • Sliced turkey breast
  • Havarti cheese
  • Mustard or aioli
  • Fresh greens (arugula or spinach)

Instructions

  1. Begin by slicing the croissants in half horizontally, making sure not to cut all the way through to create a pocket for your fillings.
  2. Lay the bottom half of the croissant on your cutting board. Spread your choice of mustard or aioli generously on this layer.
  3. Layer the sliced turkey breast over the condiment to form an even covering.
  4. Place the Havarti cheese slices over the turkey, allowing it to slightly overlap.
  5. Add a handful of fresh greens on top for a refreshing touch.
  6. Cap the sandwich with the top half of the croissant.
  7. Preheat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface if needed.
  8. Place the sandwich in the pan, pressing down gently with a spatula. Heat for 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
  9. Carefully flip the sandwich and repeat the process on the other side until both sides are toasted and the cheese has melted.
