- 6 large croissants
- Sliced turkey breast
- Havarti cheese
- Mustard or aioli
- Fresh greens (arugula or spinach)
Instructions
- Begin by slicing the croissants in half horizontally, making sure not to cut all the way through to create a pocket for your fillings.
- Lay the bottom half of the croissant on your cutting board. Spread your choice of mustard or aioli generously on this layer.
- Layer the sliced turkey breast over the condiment to form an even covering.
- Place the Havarti cheese slices over the turkey, allowing it to slightly overlap.
- Add a handful of fresh greens on top for a refreshing touch.
- Cap the sandwich with the top half of the croissant.
- Preheat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface if needed.
- Place the sandwich in the pan, pressing down gently with a spatula. Heat for 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully flip the sandwich and repeat the process on the other side until both sides are toasted and the cheese has melted.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Wrap any leftovers tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for a month.
