Description

Texas Twinkies are smoky jalapeños stuffed with brisket and cheese, wrapped in bacon, delivering a flavor explosion that embodies the spirit of Texas cuisine.


Ingredients

  • 6 Jalapeños
  • 2 cups Smoked Brisket, shredded
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 1/4 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Mix the smoked brisket, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and spices in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the brisket and cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the wrapped jalapeños on the grill or a baking sheet.
  7. Brush with barbecue sauce.
