A delightful dessert featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy layer of whipped cream and cream cheese, topped with fresh strawberries in gelatin.

- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 (6 oz) package strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well coated.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden, then set aside to cool.
- Mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in another bowl until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then add cold water, mixing well.
- Fold in sliced strawberries and pour the mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until gelatin is firmly set.
Notes
Enhance flavors by preparing the dessert the night before your event. Consider using other seasonal fruits as a topping.
