Description

A delightful and easy-to-make dessert that combines the flavors of strawberries and cheesecake in a luscious dump cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Colorful Easter sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  3. Spread the sliced strawberries evenly in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
  5. Combine the cake mix with the melted butter until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the cake mixture evenly over the cream cheese and strawberry layers.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving and top with colorful Easter sprinkles.

Notes

Make sure to soften the cream cheese for easy mixing. You can customize by adding lemon zest or crushed nuts. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
