Description
Indulge in a culinary experience with tender ribeye steaks and succulent shrimp, all enveloped in a luxurious creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steaks: Generously sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the ribeyes.
- Sear the steaks: Heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare. Once cooked, remove from the pan and let rest.
- Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Cook the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Prepare the sauce: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for a few minutes to thicken.
- Plate and serve: Slice the rested steaks, arrange on plates, and top with the creamy garlic shrimp sauce. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Make-ahead: Prep garlic ahead of time. Substitute shrimp with scallops for a different flavor profile.
