Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the strawberry puree until swirled through the dough.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a prepared baking sheet, create an indent, and fill it with the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
Notes
You can refrigerate the dough a day in advance and bake later. Use an air fryer at 320°F (160°C) for about 10 minutes as an alternative.
