Description

A delightful dish combining sweet and spicy flavors with perfectly seared pork tenderloin, jalapeños, and honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pork: Start by seasoning the pork pieces generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the pork: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned pork.
  3. Add aroma: Toss in the diced jalapeños and minced garlic, cooking for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Make the sauce: Whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the pork and jalapeño blend and simmer on medium-low heat for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Garnish & serve: Finish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve hot with sides.

Notes

Consider marinating the pork overnight for enhanced flavors. Serve with rice or tortillas for a complete meal.
