Description

Delicious BBQ chicken thighs, bursting with flavor and perfect for summer gatherings, easy weeknight dinners, or any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • ⅓ cup BBQ sauce
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix the spices in a small bowl.
  3. Season the thighs with the spice blend.
  4. Optional marinate the chicken with BBQ sauce for 15-30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Arrange chicken on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Add the remaining BBQ sauce and brush over the chicken.
  9. Final bake for another 10-15 minutes, until cooked through.
  10. Rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating overnight. Can also be cooked in an air fryer for a quicker option.
