- 1 ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- ⅓ cup BBQ sauce
- Non-stick cooking spray
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon table salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Mix the spices in a small bowl.
- Season the thighs with the spice blend.
- Optional marinate the chicken with BBQ sauce for 15-30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange chicken on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Add the remaining BBQ sauce and brush over the chicken.
- Final bake for another 10-15 minutes, until cooked through.
- Rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating overnight. Can also be cooked in an air fryer for a quicker option.
