Description

A delightful breakfast omelette inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak, filled with eggs, savory steak, peppers, and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooked steak, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs in a medium mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper; whisk until slightly frothy.
  2. Heat your non-stick skillet over medium heat, adding butter or oil to coat the pan.
  3. Sauté the diced bell peppers and onions for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Warm the sliced steak, mixing it with the vegetables for another minute.
  5. Add the beaten eggs, tilting the pan to distribute evenly.
  6. Cook until the edges start to firm up, then sprinkle cheese on one half.
  7. Fold the other half over the cheese and cook for 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Chop vegetables in advance for quicker preparation. Feel free to customize with your favorite vegetables or cheeses.
