Description

A vibrant and festive cake soaked in red and blue jello, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles, perfect for celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet of red jello
  • 1 packet of blue jello
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Sprinkles (red, white, and blue)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven as directed on the cake mix box.
  2. Prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions using the eggs and water.
  3. Bake the mix in a greased 9×13 inch pan for the time specified on the box.
  4. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes.
  5. Use a fork to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
  6. Prepare the red jello according to package instructions.
  7. Pour the red jello over the holes in the cake.
  8. Repeat the same process for the blue jello.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours.
  10. Before serving, top the cake with whipped cream and sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles.

Notes

This cake can be made a day in advance. Always poke deep enough holes for the jello to seep in.
