Description

A delightful and healthier twist on traditional burgers, featuring savory ground beef wrapped in tender cabbage leaves and topped with melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 head of Cabbage
  • Spices: Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper
  • Leaf Lettuce
  • 1 Tomato
  • 2 slices Pickles
  • 1 Avocado

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel away leaves from the cabbage and boil in salted water for 3-5 minutes, then let cool.
  3. Combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, egg, and spices in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Take a cabbage leaf and place a scoop of beef mixture in the center, folding the sides over.
  5. Place on a baking sheet seam-side down.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the beef is cooked through and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Serve hot with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and avocado.

Notes

Prep the filling a day before for improved flavor. Consider air frying for a crispier texture.
