Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken Thighs, skin-on and bone-in
  • 2 Cups Orzo Pasta
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Lemon, juiced and zested
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and sear in the skillet until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest, stirring in the orzo.
  6. Bring to a simmer, cover, and transfer to the oven.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and orzo is tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate chicken in lemon, garlic, and olive oil for a few hours beforehand. You can substitute orzo with other small pasta shapes if desired.
