Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons mixed dried herbs (e.g., rosemary, thyme, oregano)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in the water, olive oil, minced garlic, and herbs until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) with the Dutch oven inside.
  5. Turn the risen dough onto a floured surface and gently shape it into a ball.
  6. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Carefully place the dough in the hot Dutch oven, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until browned.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
