Description

Delicious sliders combining savory ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, nestled in sweet Hawaiian rolls, with a touch of powdered sugar.


Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 slices of turkey
  • 12 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Raspberry or strawberry jam (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare your 9×13 inch baking pan by spraying it with non-stick spray.
  3. Gently slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls without separating them.
  4. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared pan.
  5. Layer half of the cheese slices on the bottom rolls. Follow this with all the ham and turkey slices, then top it off with the remaining cheese slices.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese layer, gently pressing them down.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, and pepper until well blended. Brush this mixture all over the tops of the sliders.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese melts and the buns turn golden brown.
  9. Remove and sprinkle a light dusting of powdered sugar on top. Serve with jam if desired.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare the sliders a few hours in advance and refrigerate until baking.
