Description

Delicious mini donuts bursting with real strawberry flavor, topped with a crunchy cereal coating.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1/2 cup crushed cereal (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini donut pan.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients in a separate bowl, whisking together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract, then stir in crushed strawberries.
  4. Bring the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan wells about 3/4 full with batter.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring to a cooling rack, then press the tops into crushed cereal.
  8. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

For best results, let melted butter cool before adding to eggs. Consider using freeze-dried strawberries for intense flavor without excess moisture.
