Description

Indulgent bites of sweet Medjool dates stuffed with creamy mascarpone cheese and topped with maple syrup and chopped pecans.


Ingredients

  • 24 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 6 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp grade A dark amber maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Turn on your oven broiler and move the rack to the top position.
  2. Carefully slice each date lengthwise to create an opening for the filling.
  3. Stuff each date generously with mascarpone cheese.
  4. Sprinkle the finely chopped pecan crumbs onto each stuffed date.
  5. Drizzle the dates with maple syrup.
  6. Broil for 3 minutes.
  7. Allow them to cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
