Description
Indulgent bites of sweet Medjool dates stuffed with creamy mascarpone cheese and topped with maple syrup and chopped pecans.
Ingredients

- 24 Medjool dates, pitted
- 6 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp grade A dark amber maple syrup
Instructions
- Turn on your oven broiler and move the rack to the top position.
- Carefully slice each date lengthwise to create an opening for the filling.
- Stuff each date generously with mascarpone cheese.
- Sprinkle the finely chopped pecan crumbs onto each stuffed date.
- Drizzle the dates with maple syrup.
- Broil for 3 minutes.
- Allow them to cool slightly before enjoying.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
