- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 pieces green onions, chopped finely
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup oil for frying (canola or vegetable)
Instructions
- Prepare the crab meat by checking for leftover shells.
- Mix the filling in a bowl with crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into 1-2 inch balls.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
- Fry the crab bombs until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes per side.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider air frying instead of deep frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
