Description

Delightful grilled seafood skewers with shrimp, smoky sausage, and sweet corn, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb smoked sausage (andouille or kielbasa), cut into chunks
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 ears sweet corn, cut into manageable pieces
  • 2 tbsp crab boil seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces and parboil until tender.
  4. Cut sausage into chunks.
  5. Skewer shrimp, sausage, parboiled potatoes, and corn alternately on the skewers.
  6. Melt butter in a small saucepan and mix in crab boil seasoning and minced garlic.
  7. Brush the skewers with the garlic butter mixture.
  8. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  9. Grill the skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side until shrimp are cooked through.
  10. Serve immediately with leftover butter for dipping.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Assemble skewers a day in advance and store in the fridge. Brush with butter before grilling.
