Description

A fusion of juicy chicken glazed with a sweet and savory sauce, served over fluffy rice with broccoli and a drizzle of spicy mayo.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Thighs or Breasts
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Honey or Brown Sugar
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 inch Ginger, grated
  • 2 cups Rice (jasmine or basmati)
  • 2 cups Broccoli, steamed
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 23 tbsp Sriracha
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Sesame Seeds, for garnishing
  • Green Onions, sliced, for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil. Add the chicken, cooking until golden brown, approximately 5–7 minutes per side.
  3. Pour the sticky sauce over the chicken and simmer for an additional 3–4 minutes.
  4. Cook rice according to package instructions, fluffing gently when done.
  5. Steam the broccoli until tender.
  6. Mix mayonnaise and sriracha in a small bowl for the spicy mayo.
  7. Assemble by placing rice in a bowl, topping with chicken, steamed broccoli, and drizzling with spicy mayo.
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top before serving.

Notes
