Description

Cream Cheese Poppers are delightful bite-sized snacks with a flaky exterior and a creamy, cheesy filling.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough, 8 count
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or extra green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Flatten the biscuit dough pieces to about 3-4 inches wide on a clean surface.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of filling in the center of each dough round.
  5. Pinch the edges around the filling to seal tightly.
  6. Roll the sealed dough into a ball and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 14-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Cool for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with parsley or extra green onions.
