- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 package ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked pasta or rice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and milk to a large bowl. Whisk until smooth to avoid lumps.
- Stir in the ranch seasoning mix until evenly distributed. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Fold in the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar, and shredded mozzarella.
- If using cooked pasta or rice, gently stir into the mixture until evenly combined.
- Pour the combined mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread it into an even layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the edges bubble and the top turns lightly golden. Broil for 1–2 minutes if desired.
- Let the casserole cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added cheesiness, sprinkle an extra 1/4 cup cheddar on top before the end of baking. Casserole can be assembled in advance and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
