Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13-inch baking pan thoroughly.
  2. Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until just combined.
  4. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Spread half of the batter into the greased baking pan.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the batter evenly.
  7. Dollop the remaining batter over the filling.
  8. Swirl the batter together gently with a knife.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let the bars cool for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  11. Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for frosting until smooth.
