- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix in a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped bacon, ranch dressing, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
- Add the chicken mixture onto one half of each dough circle.
- Seal the other half of the dough over the filling, pressing edges together firmly.
- Egg wash the tops of the calzones with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare the filling in advance and refrigerate. To reheat, bake at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes.
