Description

Delicious calzones filled with a savory blend of chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, and mozzarella cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Mix in a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped bacon, ranch dressing, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Add the chicken mixture onto one half of each dough circle.
  5. Seal the other half of the dough over the filling, pressing edges together firmly.
  6. Egg wash the tops of the calzones with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the filling in advance and refrigerate. To reheat, bake at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes.
