Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • Slider buns
  • Cheddar cheese slices
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Mustard or ketchup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef and onion soup mix in your slow cooker. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours until the beef becomes tender.
  3. Shred the beef using a fork in the slow cooker, mixing with the juices.
  4. Preheat your oven to broil.
  5. Arrange the slider buns cut side up on a baking sheet and spoon the beef mixture onto each bun.
  6. Top each slider with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  7. Broil for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with pickles and condiments as desired.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the beef a day in advance for convenience. If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can cook the beef in a skillet.
