Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾1 cup chopped salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Prep the baking sheet: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer.
  2. Melt the butter: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter completely while stirring.
  3. Create the caramel: Stir in the brown sugar and corn syrup, mixing until smooth. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Add vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Spoon onto crackers: Carefully drizzle about 1 tablespoon of caramel onto each cracker.
  6. Top with peanuts: Immediately sprinkle the chopped peanuts over the warm caramel.
