- 2 cups of whipped cream or whipped topping

Instructions
- Prepare the vanilla pudding by whisking together the pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Fold in the whipped cream or whipped topping until well combined.
- Layer the eclairs or ladyfingers in a serving dish.
- Spread a layer of pudding mixture over the eclairs.
- Add a layer of diced apples and drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with pudding on top.
- Drizzle with additional caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving.
