Description

Bourbon Blackberry Salmon blends rich smoky bourbon with vibrant blackberries, transforming a simple salmon fillet into a sophisticated centerpiece for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 1 cup Blackberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl to create a glaze.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes until the skin crisps.
  4. Flip the fillets gently, scatter blackberries around, and drizzle the glaze over the salmon.
  5. Cook for another 4–5 minutes, watching for the glaze to thicken.
  6. Serve the salmon warm, topped with blackberries and extra glaze.

Notes

Marinate the salmon in the glaze for enhanced flavor, and ensure not to overcook the salmon for the best texture.
