- 2 cans of cinnamon roll dough
- 3 cups of diced apples
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl until coated.
- Prepare the cinnamon rolls by cutting each roll into quarters.
- Layer the quartered rolls in a baking dish and pour the apple mixture over them.
- Add the melted butter and nuts on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Make the icing by whisking the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Finish by drizzling the icing over the bake before serving.
Notes
Prepare the apple mixture a day in advance for convenience. Can use an air fryer for a crispy top.
