Description

A delightful dessert combining cinnamon rolls and spiced apples, draped in a luscious buttery glaze. Perfect for family gatherings and cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of cinnamon roll dough
  • 3 cups of diced apples
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl until coated.
  3. Prepare the cinnamon rolls by cutting each roll into quarters.
  4. Layer the quartered rolls in a baking dish and pour the apple mixture over them.
  5. Add the melted butter and nuts on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Make the icing by whisking the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  8. Finish by drizzling the icing over the bake before serving.

Notes

Prepare the apple mixture a day in advance for convenience. Can use an air fryer for a crispy top.
