Description

A heartwarming casserole featuring ground beef, creamy mushroom sauce, and a golden topping, perfect for cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mashed potatoes for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties and place them in a 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Combine the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, and milk in a separate bowl, whisking until smooth.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture generously over the patties.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes.
