Description

Ingredients

  • 496 grams packaged sugar cookie mix
  • 240 grams soft caramels, unwrapped
  • 60 millilitres heavy cream
  • 225 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven as directed on the sugar cookie mix package.
  2. Prepare the sugar cookie mix according to the package instructions, mixing until you achieve a smooth, buttery dough.
  3. Roll the dough into balls, about 1-1½ inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
  4. Bake as directed on the package until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Melt the caramels and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the silky caramel mixture over the top of each cookie after they have cooled slightly.
  7. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel-topped cookies and allow them to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading. Customize by adding sea salt or using different chocolates.
