- 5 cups mini marshmallows
- 5½ cups Rice Krispie cereal
- 16 oz soft caramels (1½ 11oz bags, unwrapped)
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Add mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Mix in Rice Krispie cereal until coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Prepare the caramel layer by combining soft caramels and heavy cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Spread the melted caramel over the Rice Krispie base.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
- Finish with chopped pecans, pressing gently to adhere.
- Set at room temperature, then slice into squares to serve.
