- 1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
- 1 cup Strawberry Jam or Preserves
- 1 cup Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare your dry ingredients by whisking together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream the softened butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and extracts, then mix until combined.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures, mixing until just incorporated.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Shape and fill cookie shapes using cookie cutters, adding jam to half.
- Top with remaining cookie shapes and seal edges.
- Sprinkle with sprinkles if desired.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
Notes
These cookies can be frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds to enjoy again.
