Description

  • 2 cans strawberry pie filling (21 oz each)
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish generously.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish, creating a luscious base.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  4. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling and spread gently with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer without mixing.
