Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish generously.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish, creating a luscious base.
- Combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling and spread gently with a spatula.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer without mixing.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Optional: Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
