- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup strawberries, diced
- 1 tablespoon sugar (for topping)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Mix the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until frothy.
- Pour the wet mix into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about half an inch thickness and cut out the donuts.
- Fry the donuts in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the donuts and let them drain on paper towels.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in another bowl until smooth.
- Dip the tops of the cooled donuts into the cheesecake glaze, then sprinkle with diced strawberries and sugar.
- Serve them warmly or at room temperature.
Notes
You can prepare the dough a day in advance. Use an air fryer for a healthier option or bake at 375°F for a lighter version.
