A savory and sweet pasta dish featuring browned sausage glazed in honey and garlic, served with al dente pasta and garnished with fresh parsley.

- 8 oz pasta (your choice, like penne or spaghetti)
- 1 lb sausage (Italian sausage, chicken or turkey sausage works)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain well.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the honey and soy sauce, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired. Stir to combine.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, coating it thoroughly in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet with a splash of water or broth.
