- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (for sauce)

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by combining it with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and ground ginger. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente, reserving ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients: soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- In a large skillet or wok, cook the marinated chicken over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until well-coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize with vegetables or swap chicken for shrimp or tofu. Marinate chicken ahead for more flavor.
