Description

Delightful fusion of flaky pastry and fruity filling resembling a light, airy muffin filled with juicy peach preserves and a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cans refrigerated crescent dough (8 ounces each)
  • 1 cup peach preserves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peach preserves and ground cinnamon until well mixed.
  3. Roll out each can of crescent dough, pressing the seams together to form rectangles.
  4. Spread the peach mixture evenly over the surface of each dough rectangle.
  5. Roll each rectangle into logs and slice them in half lengthwise. Twist each piece into a spiral shape.
  6. Place the twisted pieces into the muffin tin, ensuring space between each twist.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While they bake, whisk together powdered sugar and heavy whipping cream to create a glaze.
  9. Drizzle glaze over warm cruffins before serving.

Notes

Feel free to prep the peach filling a day in advance. These cruffins can also be made in an air fryer for a crispier texture.
