Description

Delightful pastries featuring flaky layers and sweet peach preserves, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 cans refrigerated crescent dough
  • 240 millilitres peach preserves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 60 grams powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the crescent dough package instructions.
  2. Roll out the dough onto a lightly floured surface to create one large rectangle.
  3. Cut the dough into strips about an inch wide.
  4. Spread the peach preserves over each strip and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Roll up each strip tightly to form a spiral and twist to create a cruffin shape.
  6. Arrange in a greased muffin pan and bake until golden brown, approximately 15-20 minutes.
  7. Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with water or milk until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cruffins and enjoy!

Notes

For a kick, consider adding nutmeg or ginger to the cinnamon. These cruffins can be made ahead and stored in the freezer.
