Description

A delightful dish featuring crispy chicken cutlets coated in a golden Parmesan crust, served with a rich and creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan for sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each cutlet in flour, shake off excess, then dip in beaten eggs.
  3. Coat cutlets in a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then cook the coated cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  7. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer.
  8. Stir in additional Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Return chicken to skillet, spooning sauce over it for 1 minute.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.

Notes

For a healthier option, use an air fryer or roast the chicken at 400°F until fully cooked. Pair with mashed potatoes or a salad for a complete meal.
