Description

A comforting one-pot pasta dish featuring creamy garlic sauce and freshly grated Parmesan, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fusilli or penne)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, warm olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Toss in pasta, milk, and enough water to cover. Season with salt and pepper, and stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer. Cook until pasta is al dente and liquid has thickened, about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted and sauce is creamy.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare up to a day in advance and reheat with a splash of milk. Customize with proteins or different cheeses for variation.
