Description

A juicy beef burger topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese, delivering a flavorful and indulgent experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 450 grams baby bella mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 beef patties
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and any desired toppings

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the unsalted butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the beef patties on a grill or skillet to your desired doneness, typically 4-5 minutes per side for medium. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty just before finishing to melt.
  4. Toast the burger buns lightly, then assemble the burger with the beef patty, sautéed mushrooms, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomato. Add any additional toppings you wish.

Notes

You can prepare the sautéed mushrooms in advance. For a twist, try different cheeses like gouda or provolone.
