Description

A creamy, hearty Mushroom Lasagna layered with earthy mushrooms, rich cheeses, and a luscious marinara sauce—a perfect dish for gatherings or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted water until al dente, then drain.
  3. Sauté the mushrooms in a skillet with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Layer marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish, then add noodles, half of the mushrooms, ricotta cheese, and a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat layers finishing with noodles and marinara.
  5. Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to brown the cheese.
  6. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing, then garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

Make-ahead: Assemble a day in advance and refrigerate. Consider air frying for a crispy crust.
