Description

Delightfully soft and flavorful Maple Donut Bars that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the maple syrup, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes in the baking dish, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

For a richer taste, consider replacing vegetable oil with melted butter. You may also use whole wheat flour for a healthier option.
