Description

A rich, decadent bake made with buttery croissants and gooey chocolate, perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 5 large croissants (preferably day-old), cut into 2.5 cm pieces
  • 4 large eggs
  • 120 g granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Add in your cut croissant pieces and chocolate chips, folding gently.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This bake can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated. Serve with fresh berries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
