- 2 large eggs

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Purple, green, and gold sanding sugar or sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, almond extract, and lemon zest.
- Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk them together.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gradually until combined.
- Transfer the dough to the baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until edges are golden.
- Cool the bars completely on a wire rack.
- Make the icing by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Glaze the cooled bars with icing and sprinkle with sanding sugar.
- Set for 30 minutes before slicing into bars.
