Description

A hearty and comforting soup made with savory kielbasa, tender potatoes, and vibrant vegetables, perfect for warm gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the sliced kielbasa and cook until golden brown.
  4. Toss in the diced potatoes and carrots, stirring well.
  5. Pour in the broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Gently stir in the heavy cream, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Simmer for another 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
