This creamy garlic bread dip is the perfect blend of roasted garlic, cream cheese, and spices, served warm with crunchy crostini.

- 2 heads garlic (roasted)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (for roasting)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup sour cream (can substitute Greek yogurt)
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
- 0.5 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 0.25 teaspoon pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Crostini or crackers (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Prepare the garlic by trimming the tops off each head.
- Drizzle olive oil over the exposed tops.
- Wrap each garlic head tightly in foil and roast for about 50 minutes.
- Cool the garlic for a few minutes.
- Mash the roasted cloves into a smooth paste.
- Combine cream cheese and sour cream, mixing until smooth, then add mozzarella, half of the parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture into an 8×8-inch baking dish and top with remaining parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 28 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with crostini or crackers.
Notes
This dip can be made a few hours in advance; keep it covered in the fridge until ready to bake.
