- 0.25 cup honey
- 0.5 to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons chili crunch
- Flaky sea salt for garnish
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet, brushing both sides lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the ricotta, heavy cream, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the honey with red pepper flakes for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Spread approximately 2 tablespoons of the whipped ricotta on each toasted baguette slice.
- Drizzle warm honey over the ricotta.
- Top with chili crunch, flaky sea salt, and fresh basil leaves.
- Serve immediately.
