- 1 block firm tofu
- 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
- 1/4 cup mustard (Dijon or yellow)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or traditional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the pressed tofu block into strips, about an inch wide.
- Mix together the honey and mustard in a medium-sized bowl.
- Coat each tofu strip in the honey mustard mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Prepare the baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the coated tofu tenders.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. To reheat, use the oven at 350°F until warmed through.
