Description
A sumptuous ribeye steak cooked to perfection and topped with a luxurious garlic butter and creamy Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Generously season both sides of your ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
- Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.
- Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden crust forms.
- Flip the steaks and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic; cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously to deglaze the pan.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes; adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Slice the rested steaks against the grain, plate them, and drizzle the creamy Parmesan sauce over the top; garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For best results, ensure your steak is at room temperature before cooking. You can prep the sauce in advance for convenience.
