Description

A sumptuous ribeye steak cooked to perfection and topped with a luxurious garlic butter and creamy Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Generously season both sides of your ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.
  3. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden crust forms.
  4. Flip the steaks and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic; cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
  5. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
  6. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously to deglaze the pan.
  7. Add grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes; adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Slice the rested steaks against the grain, plate them, and drizzle the creamy Parmesan sauce over the top; garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For best results, ensure your steak is at room temperature before cooking. You can prep the sauce in advance for convenience.
